Hacienda Albae began planting its first vines in 1985. Since then, we have grown and dreamed of producing wines with their own unique personality. Meticulous vineyard management, seven grape varieties perfectly suited to this climate, and careful production by plot allow us to produce exceptional single-varietal wines. Hacienda Albae is currently a 500-hectare estate, which includes the winery and more than 200 hectares of vineyards.
It is located at an altitude of 700 meters and has sandy loam soils, along with calcareous areas and some clay veins. The climate is warm and dry, but water is abundant, as one of the largest aquifers in the country lies beneath our feet. Throughout the year, numerous viticultural tasks are carried out, in addition to exhaustive monitoring of water stress and leaf surface area, in order to achieve the perfect state of ripeness in each of the plots and varieties.
